It's the media's fault for glorifying tattoos lately. It's the shop's fault for not scrutinizing this kid's fake ID. It's /OUR/ fault for having a bunch of tattoos and getting laid and having nice personalities. It's everybody's fault but this lady's... I mean, really, how can you expect a mother to instill values and morals and make their young child obey them? It's not her job man.

And unfortunately, we are "people like this". However, if the people who aren't "like this" are this stupid, then I'm glad I'm on this team. And we might be covered in tattoos, but we're still decent people. You're the best dad I know. I'm glad Talon and Phoenix will know where the lines are as far as misbehaving goes. At least someone still disciplines their kids.

Re: Who is to blame?

Dude, all I can say is ... AMEN!

Re: Who is to blame?

When my oldest was 16 (last year) she got a tatto on her inner wrist. It wasn't AT a tattoo shop--but by a tattoo artist. It was/is a beautiful, tasteful tattoo. But I was still miffed that someone (she refused to name) would do this without permission. Ah well... its just ink--that's with you for life--not like a bad choice of spouse you can just divorce... ;)

Re: Who is to blame?

totally agree with you - 100% - especially the part about child discipline. I grew up with it, was set straight because of it, and I myself see a lot of kids these days who could use a little ... straightening.
