Oh, forgot my recommendations ... you know your son better than any of us, but if I may make a suggestion, try some horror classics and see what he likes. Mine doesn't care for Godzilla, "old Dracula", or werewolves but has a fine appreciation of space scifi, zombies, and "new" undead. (Twilight, God help me LOL!)

Seriously, dude, "Zombieland" and any of the "Resident Evil" series movies play on a weekly basis at my house. :P

It's been a while since I have read anything on it, but apparently her excuse|reasoning was that the puppies were diseased, and her grandmother told her to get rid of them. She figured that throwing them into the river would be a quick death..
